Sequim resident hurt in Jefferson County wreck

A Sequim man was injured and airlifted to a Seattle hospital after a two-car crash at about 4 p.m. Aug. 14 just east of Port Townsend.


Alan Lawrence, 55, was hurt when his 1997 Buick four-door car collided with a 2008 GMC Envoy SUV at Four Corners Road.


The two passengers in the GMC Envoy — Roger Collin, 68, and Beverly Collin, 62, both of Portland, Ore. — were transported to Jefferson General Hospital for injuries.


Cause the of the crash is under investigation, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
