Transit to issue cards for senior, disabled residents

The Clallam Public Transit System has announced the following schedule when staff will be out in the communities to make it more convenient for disabled and senior Clallam County residents to get their regional reduced fare permit (RRFP) program ID cards.

 

There is a one-time permit cost of $3 for the ID cards.

 

Cards will be available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Veterans Stand Down at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

 

In Port Angeles, the cards are available from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. 7th St.

 

In Sequim, the cards are available from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Shipley Center/Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St.
