Genealogy center puts on open house

The Clallam County Genealogical Society Research Center, 402 E. Lauridsen Blvd., holds an open house from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. Volunteers will be on hand to help solve those genealogical riddles. From 1-2:30 p.m. Jana Hyatt will present a class on “Getting the Most Out of the Census Records.” This class should be essential for the beginning and the intermediate genealogist. RSVP to 417-5000. A $5 donation covers materials from non-members. The class is free to members of CCGS.
