Hospice offers help with losing loved ones

The grief of losing a loved one or close friend can be overwhelming – especially during the holiday season. Assured Hospice of Clallam and Jefferson Counties invites anyone grieving the loss of someone close to attend “Surviving the Holidays,” a free program that will explore ways to prepare for the holiday season in the midst of mourning.

The program is from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

Victoria Jazwic, bereavement coordinator at Assured Hospice of Clallam and Jefferson Counties, serves as the presenter and group facilitator. The program will help affected family and friends discover ways to cope with their grief and find comfort during the holidays.

Any Clallam or Jefferson County resident grieving the loss of a loved one is invited to attend.
