Animal sanctuary seeks donations

Precious Life Animal Sanctuary announced recently that KeyBank chose the organization for the company’s community outreach for November and December.

Precious Life Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1999 by Ralph and Caryl Turner to raise the public awareness of the incredible suffering and misery inflicted on farm and companion animals. The official grand opening was in September 2006, at the sanctuary located in the Lost Mountain area of Sequim.

The sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing and providing a safe home for abused, neglected and abandoned farm and companion animals, teaching humane education and advocating against practices that perpetuate animal suffering. Donations needed include food for rescued animals such as cows, rabbits, swine and dogs, cat litter and gift certificates to local animal feed stores.

Those wishing to support the sanctuary may visit KeyBank in Sequim or KeyBank in Port Angeles or visit www.preciouslifeanimalsanctuary.org.
