Blankets needed for locals

Sequim Community Aid holds three opportunities to donate new blankets to those in need for its annual Toys for Sequim Kids. People can donate at The Grocery Outlet from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and the same time and day at QFC (Dec. 7). Blankets can be given to any participating real estate office and toys, food and blankets to the Sequim fire station.
Items are given to families in Sequim School District boundaries with children 0-eighth grade from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
