Members of the Sequim Valley Car Club recently delivered toys they collected for Sequim Community Aid’s annual Toys for Sequim Kids in a 1947 Cadillac Fleetwood to the Sequim fire station. On hand were, from left, firefighter Matt Newell, car club driver Dennis Hood, Donna Tidrick, president of community aid, and firefighters Jim Whitaker and Capt. Marc Lawson, who took the toys inside. Jim Davis, who was not present, co-organized the transfer of toys. All toys will be delivered by the fire department before Toys for Sequim Kids, which occurs at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, in Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 N. Blake Ave. Parents should have I.D. with them to show they live in the Sequim School District areas.
