WOW! focuses on home exercises

Grace Lambert, NASM, CPT/CES, and owner of Flamingo Fitness, will present a free WOW! Working on Wellness Forum entitled “Exercising At Home” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 N. Blake Ave., Sequim.

Lambert is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer, senior fitness specialist and corrective exercise specialist.

Her goal is always the same: to show people what they can do to exercise at home and to encourage them to incorporate exercise into their daily routine. Lambert, along with her husband and his brother, will talk about and demonstrate a variety of things that people of all ages and abilities can do at home to gain or regain strength, improve their balance, reflexes, agility and dexterity.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic—Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members.

Individuals interested in supporting the clinic may call 582-0218.
