Clallam County advisory boards seeks volunteers

The Board of Clallam County Commissioners announces an immediate opening on the Civil Service Commission due to a resignation and openings on the following boards and committees. Additional information regarding openings and descriptions for various boards and committees can be found at www.clallam.net/boards/index.html.

 

• Agricultural Commission

Opening for a farmer in Commissioner District I and a farmer in Commissioner District II

 

• Animal Issues Advisory Committee

Openings for a representative of tribal government, Friends of Forks Animals, Olympic Animal Sanctuary, Commissioner District I, Commissioner District III, and two at-large positions

 

• Boundary Review Board

Operates under the authority of RCW 36.93, openings are for a county appointee, city appointee and special district appointee

 

• Building Code Board of Appeals

Opening for an alternate who must be either: a general contractor, civil or structural engineer, or architect licensed in Washington with at least 10 years experience; an ICC-certified building official, building inspector or plans examiner, or ICC-certified fire marshal, fire inspector or fire plan examiner with at least five years of experience; an architect and civil or structural engineer.

 

• Chemical Dependency/Mental Health Program Fund Advisory Board

Openings for a consumer/past consumer of chemical dependency/mental health services, a private provider of mental health services not contracting for funding, private provider of chemical dependency services not contracting for funding, advocate for chemical dependency mental health services, and an at-large position.
