Katey Tapia came out on top in a quintet of contestants at the pageant Saturday night for the 119th Sequim Irrigation Festival royalty.
Tapia is the daughter of Sandy Tapia and was sponsored by Air Flo Heating. Princess Kaylee Ditlefsen was named the recipient of the Tracie Sofie Award by her peers. She is the daughter of Dave and Christy Ditlefsen and her sponsor is Northwest Log Homes. Also named to the court are Princess Judi Villella, daughter of Casey Thrush, and sponsored by Bekkevar Trucking & Logging; and Princess Kristina Holtrop, daughter of Joe and Karen Holtrop, sponsored by Nourish. The 119th Sequim Irrigation Festival runs May 2-11.
