Superior Court



Ashley Michele Burton - Burton, 22, Sequim, had a bench warrant issued for her arrest March 11 after failing to appear for a court hearing. She was charged Jan. 11 with one count of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana. According to court records, Burton allegedly was found in possession of 3.8 grams of methamphetamine Jan. 8 while being booked on an arrest warrant.



Bridget Brianna Ramsey - Ramsey, 28, Sequim, had a March 19 arraignment date set on one count of obtaining a controlled substance by forged or altered prescription. According to court records, Ramsey allegedly backdated her methadone prescription and forged her doctor's signature for the change and then presented it at a Sequim pharmacy on Dec. 24, 2009.



Christopher Bayley - Bayley, 34, Sequim, agreed to a 60-day involuntary commitment on March 11 as part of a drug court contract to settle a 2009 case. He still faces one count of possession of a controlled substance from a January 2010 case.



Amber Elizabeth Larson - Larson, 21, Sequim, was sentenced March 10 for one count of third-degree child assault (criminal negligence and substantial pain). According to court records, Larson assaulted a 2-month-old child on June 3, 2009. She will serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring and perform 240 hours community service in lieu of 90 days in jail. She will be on probation for 24 months, pay $1,255 in fines and court costs plus restitution to be determined. She is to have no contact with the victim except as authorized by Child Protective Services and no unsupervised contact with children younger than 12 except as authorized by the state Department of Corrections. Larson also must complete a parenting class.
