Clallam County Advisory Boards seeks volunteers

The Board of Clallam County Commissioners announces openings on advisory Boards and Committees. Specific categories are noted where applicable.

• Agricultural Commission (1)

A farmer in District III or an at-large farmer

• Animal Issues Advisory Committee (5)

A representative of District III (West End), Tribal government, Friends of Forks Animals; a veterinarian, and an at-large member

• Board of Equalization (1)

District III (West End) to due an expiring term

• Boundary Review Board (3)

A county representative, city representative and special districts representative

• Carlsborg Community Advisory Council (1)

Resident of the Parkwood manufactured home community

• Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee (6)

• Heritage Advisory Board (1)

Representative of Commissioner District II (Port Angeles)

• Homelessness Task Force (3)

Representative of: Healthcare providers, business community, homeless or formerly homeless, and an advocate for youth issues.

• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (2)

Representative of collector of the tax, potential user of fund

• Marine Resource Committee (3)

Interested citizens are invited to contact the Clallam County Commissioners’ Office at 417-2233, visit their office in the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, or obtain the application online at www.clallam.net.

Current members with expiring terms are asked to provide a written statement by facsimile (417-2493), mail (223 E. Fourth St., Suite 4, Port Angeles 98362), or e-mail tholden@co.clallam.wa.us.

Applications must be received by close of business, April 25.
