Glass bricks from Serenity House apartments available

During the preparation for the Serenity House apartment building demolition, many members of the community expressed interest in salvaging some of the glass bricks as historical objects. Thirteen glass bricks were saved during the building demolition.

The City of Sequim would like to make the bricks available to interested parties who may have a history with or sentimental attachment to the building or to Sequim nonprofit organizations that would use them for fundraising.

If you are interested in obtaining one or more glass bricks, e-mail the City Clerk at by Friday, May 16, and let her know the reason for your interest and how many bricks you want.

The method and distribution of the bricks will be determined once the city can assess how many individuals or organizations are interested.
