A two-car crash on U.S. Highway 101 between Sequim and Carlsborg sent one driver to Olympic Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

The 66-year-old driver of a Mustang car received minor injuries and was transported to OMC after her vehicle and a pickup truck collided in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near Taylor Cutoff Road at about 10:50 a.m.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Eastbound traffic was diverted to the center lane for about 30 minutes and

Fire District 3, Olympic Ambulance, Clallam County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol assisted on the scene.

State patrol officers are investigating the accident.
