SARC Metropolitan Parks District proposal falling short in election

Proposition No. 1, a measure that would create a Metropolitan Park District within Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center boundaries, is failing after the initial count of ballots in the Aug. 4 primary by a 60-40 margin.
