The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 4. Ballots are being mailed out to all 46,325 active, registered voters on Oct. 15, and mail ballots must be post-marked on or before Election Day to be counted.

Here is some recent criminal activity in the Sequim area.
The City of Sequim Public Works Department will hold a kickoff event of the Stormwater Stewardship Project at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the City’s Interpretive Center at the Water Reuse Demonstration Site, 202 N. Blake Ave.
The Sequim Association of Realtors last week presented a check for $10,000 to the Olympic Resource Protection Council.
An account has been set up at Sound Community Bank, 645 W. Washington St., Sequim, to pay the burial expenses for Charles Harvey Allshouse, who died in Sequim on Sept. 16, 2014, at the age of 86.
