Peninsula College Foundation announces new executive board

The Peninsula College Foundation announced its new executive board and three new board members at the February meeting. The new executive board is president, Carl Gay; president-elect, Karen Rogers; treasurer, Yvonne Ziomkowski; secretary, Suzanne Anderson; and immediate past president, Jennifer Zaccardo. All of the foundation's executive board are longstanding foundation board members.

Three new board members joined the foundation in February, increasing the number on the board to 17.Rhonda Curry of Port Angeles is a familiar face on the board as well as in the community. Curry was the Peninsula College Foundation executive director before accepting a position as assistant administrator of strategic marketing and communication at Olympic Medical Center. Curry's connection with the community as president of the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce for the past year, her marketing talents and her health care knowledge will make her a great addition to the foundation board. Jim Haguewood, a Port Angeles native, is the director of the ONE group managing the Incubator@Lincoln Center. Haguewood brings his business knowledge, innovation and savvy to his new appointment with the foundation. Kathy Charlton of Sequim is the owner/manager of Olympic Cellars Winery in Port Angeles. Charlton's enthusiasm, marketing ability and events planning are welcome assets for the foundation board. The foundation board and the Peninsula College community are excited about the new board members and are looking forward to their contributions to the college and the community.
