The United Way of Clallam County hosted its second annual Outrageous Olympics on Dec. 5 at the Roosevelt Middle School gym in Port Angeles. Teams were formed with employee volunteers from across the county. Games featured feats of skill and determination to build Lego and newspaper structures, run with one crutch and one leg, shoot basketballs, pull in a tug-of-war and to text competitively.
A great time was had by all and more than $4,000 was raised to benefit United Way.
First place winners were the City Slickers, employees from the city of Port Angeles.
Second place winners were the Clallam County Crushers, county employees.
Third place winners were the Red Hot Dogs, Clallam County Fire District 3 firefighters.
