Here are the Sequim Senior Nutrition Site menus, served at 4:30 p.m. at Suncrest Village Retirement Apartments, 251 S. Fifth Ave. Suggested donation $3. Menus are subject to change.
Wednesday Dec. 17 - Roast beef, baked potato, steamed broccoli, cranberry gelatin salad, chocolate cake
Thursday Dec. 18 - Cook's choice
Friday Dec. 19 - Spaghetti with meat balls, green beans, tossed green salad, garlic bread, fruit
Monday Dec. 22 - Crab cakes, fettuccine Alfredo, mixed vegetables, pea salad, poached pears
Tuesday Dec. 23 - Chicken fried steak, whipped potatoes and gravy, spinach, broccoli salad, pudding.
Take writing efforts to the next level
Janice MacDonald, an established author who has published nine books with Harlequin's SuperRomance line, will teach three writing courses for Peninsula College in Port Angeles and Port Townsend.
MacDonald teaches "Fiction Writing" at the Port Angeles campus, Jan. 7-Feb. 11 and "Romance Writing Marathon," Feb. 7-14.
"Romance Writing" will be taught at the Port Townsend campus from Feb. 5-March 12.
To register for these classes, call Peninsula College at 452-9277.
