We call it luck, this phenomenon of good fortune that we secretly know we didn't deserve but surely won't spurn.

Inhabitants of the Emerald Isle have it in such legendary quantities that it's called the Luck o' the Irish. And everybody's Irish come March 17, St. Patrick's Day.

The Sequim Gazette would like to help celebrate the occasion by sharing readers' tales of good luck in our March 11 edition.
