The 114th Sequim Irrigation Festival really gets going this weekend with lots of fun activities for everyone. Events at a glance are as follows:
Thursday May 7
_ 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 33rd annual Sequim Arts juried art show and sale, open for public viewing through Sunday, free of charge, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave.
_ 5-9 p.m. Funtastic Carnival, Sequim High School green field, continues through Saturday.
Friday, May 8
_ 7 a.m. Crazy Daze Breakfast, $10 at the door, Elks Club, 143 Port Williams Road.
_ 6-8 p.m. Strongman competition at Blake Field on Blake Avenue.
_ 7 p.m. Sequim High School operetta "Disney's Beauty and the Beast," Sequim High School auditorium, 533 N.
Sequim Ave. General admission tickets, $10, seniors (over 65) and students $8. Also Saturday night performance.
Saturday, May 9
__6:30-11 a.m. Pancake breakfast sponsored by Sequim Valley Lions Club, Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St. $5 for adults, children under 5 free
__9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sequim Open Aire Market, Cedar Street between Sequim and Second avenues
__10 a.m.-5 p.m. Olympic Theatre Arts' BenchMark Project, 10 originally designed benches on display around town until May 19
__10 a.m. Kids Parade, Fir Street and Sequim Avenue (judging begins at 10:30 a.m.)
__10 a.m.-5 p.m. 21st annual logging show, truck and tractor pull, lawnmower races, food, arts and crafts, donation at door, next to Carrie Blake Park
__11 a.m. Car parade, Washington Street from Brown Road to Seventh Avenue
__Noon. 114th Irrigation Festival Grand Parade, organized by the Rotary Club of Sequim
