PEAK Leadership Program has become an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization operating under a regional board of directors. PEAK began as a joint project under the auspices of co-founders EDC Team Jefferson and Peninsula College.

The board members are president Joseph Murray, Pysht-Clallam Bay, managing forester, Merrill & Ring Pysht Tree Farm. First vice president John Calhoun, Forks, director, U.W. Olympic Natural Resources Center, Clallam County Port Commissioner. Second vice president Katherine Baril, Port Townsend, director, WSU Jefferson County Extension and EDC Team Jefferson.

Also treasurer Becky McGinty, Port Angeles, owner, BSG Enterprises. Secretary Jan Gannett, Sequim, retired Microsoft program manager, owner, WitZend Solutions. Volunteer board member Ian McFall, Brinnon, Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic.
