Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula has added three members to its board of directors.
Tom Cantwell, a real estate broker for Windermere SunLand; Jim McEntire, Port of Port Angeles commissioner; and Katie Wall, owner of K&K Graphics, Inc., were welcomed by the club's executive director Bob Schilling, each for three-year terms.
"I'm proud to have them stepping forward and giving back to the community this way," Schilling said.
All three were pleased about being selected for the board.
"I look forward to bringing awareness to how important the club is to our community," Wall said.
She sits on the Port Angeles club's steering committee as well.
McEntire said he hopes to help Schilling and the staff strengthen the club.
"In the next couple of years, as the economy puts stress on people, we want to make sure we have a strong resource base."
Cantwell agreed.
"We want well-resourced clubs in Sequim and Port Angeles."
