Olympic Peninsula Explorers Volkssport Club

Jan. 1, Friday. Walk on the Discovery Trail to Robin Hill Farm County Park.

Meet at 9 a.m. at QFC, 990 E. Washington St. to sign in. Then carpool to the Dungeness River Railroad Bridge to start the 12 km (7.4 miles) walk. A 5 km (3.1 miles) option is available.

Strollers and wheelchairs possible and pets must be on a leash.

Event is free.

Third annual First Night

Cruise to Protection Island

A naturalist will be onboard to answer questions. Refreshments available.
