July trials set for October drug bust

Trials for seven of 10 Sequim residents arrested during a major drug bust in October are rescheduled to July 19 with an eighth going to trial on July 26. The two remaining suspects have yet to be charged.

The cases are the result of a 14-month investigation by the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team into a marijuana manufacturing and distribution operation.

It culminated with multiple arrests in Clallam and Jefferson counties on Oct. 8 followed by more on Oct. 12.

• Jessica L. Bard, 20, of Sequim, faces a July 19 trial on one count each of conspiracy to deliver marijuana and delivery of marijuana with a school bus stop zone enhancement.

• Chaz Tyler Sullivan, 21, of Sequim, faces trial on one count of conspiracy to deliver marijuana and seven counts of delivery of marijuana or any non-narcotic with a school bus stop zone enhancement.

• Albert Dale Sullivan, 44, of Sequim, faces trial on one count each of conspiracy to deliver marijuana or a controlled substance, manufacturing marijuana, possession of 40 grams or less of marijuana and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm plus two counts of delivery of marijuana or a controlled substance.

• Kenneth Joseph Baker, 33, of Sequim, faces trial on one count of possession of marijuana. According to court records, Baker allegedly sold marijuana to an informant once during the past 18 months. Trial was set for July 19.

• Jenell Larae Snyder, 39, of Sequim, faces trial on one count each of conspiracy to deliver marijuana, delivery of marijuana, delivery of marijuana with school bus stop zone enhancement and possession with intent to manufacture or deliver marijuana with school bus stop zone enhancement.

• Bruce Michael Snyder, 48, of Sequim, faces trial on one count of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

• Steven Fager, 53, of Sequim, faces trial on one count of possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana. According to court records, police allegedly found marijuana “well in excess” of 40 grams while searching Fager’s residence on Glendale Drive in Sequim on Oct. 8.

• Robert A. Blank, 29, of Sequim, faces trial July 26 on one count of delivery of marijuana. According to court records, Blank allegedly participated in the sale of marijuana to an informant once during the past 18 months.

• Angela Sullivan, 40, Sequim, and Timothy J. Fager, 50, Port Townsend, were arrested during the Oct. 8 drug bust but have not been charged.
