Strait Occupational & Hand Therapy picks up canned goods from area businesses between 8 a.m.-noon tomorrow, Thursday, April 1, for its Helping Hands 2010 Food Drive.
Food will be collected in Sequim at Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of
Sequim, 1000 S. Fifth Ave.; Gauthun Chiropractic, 20 Lee Chatfield Ave.; Sequim Health and Rehabilitation, 650 W. Hemlock St.; and Sequim Physical Therapy Center, 500 W. Fir St., Suite A.
Port Angeles collectors include Angeles Chiropractic Clinic, 708 S. Race St., Suite A; Crestwood Convalescent Center, 1116 E. Lauridsen Blvd.; Clinicare, 621 E. Front St.; Jim's Pharmacy, 424 E. Second St.; and Mittelstaedt Chiropractic, 601 S. Race St. Donations also are welcome at Strait Occupational & Hand Therapy, 708 S. Race St., Suite C, Port Angeles during business hours.
The goal of the drive is to raise 2,500 nonperishable items and/or $2,500 by the end of April.
Proceeds are donated to the food bank in the town in which they are raised.
The event is being held in conjunction with National Occupational Therapy Month.
