Gifting traditions of local tribes and making a cedar rose will be taught at a Native American arts workshop at Peninsula College 2:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 13, in the House of Learning Longhouse on the Peninsula College campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles. Theresa Parker, education coordinator of the Makah Cultural and Research Center, teaches the workshop.
