Olympic Medical Center's strategic marketing and communications department earned marketing awards from the Aster Awards and Healthcare Advertising Awards.
The Aster Awards gave Olympic Medical two gold awards for its brochure line about available services and its "New Mover" program packet for new residents, both unveiled in 2009.
The team's promotional emery board developed to promote the digital mammography program to women earned a silver award.
Awards from the Health Care Advertising Awards included a gold award in the special events category for its booth display and activity at the September 2009 Olympic Peninsula Health Fair in Sequim and a silver award for the promotional emery board.
