Planning board seeks applicant

The board of Clallam County commissioners has an opening on the planning commission for District III, western Port Angeles and the area farther west.
The nine-member planning commission is a advisory board to the commissioners through the Department of Community Development.
Duties and responsibilities include reviewing land-use policy and related issues, including comprehensive land-use plans and planning ordinances. The open position is for a four-year term.
Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27.
