School tour set for Nov. 16

Sequim School District has scheduled the first of two school tours for the 2010-2011 school year for Tuesday, Nov. 16, beginning at 9 a.m.

The tour features Helen Haller Elementary and Sequim High School, which celebrates its centennial this year. (In 1911, the first ninth-grade class was added to the Sequim School District.)

Retirees, new parents and longtime Sequim residents are invited to view and learn about the district's students, programs, school facilities and operations. To register for the tour that includes lunch, call the district office at 582-3264 or send an e-mail (including phone number) to mdashiell@sequim.k12.wa.us.
