Wellness forum set for Nov. 10
Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic board member Jan Gannett presents "Your Sweet Life: Diabetes Prevention and Care" at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the second-floor conference room at the Olympic Medical Services Building, 840 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Gannett recently completed Stanford University Medical School's "Living Well With Chronic Conditions" training for instructors, which helps individuals who suffer from chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, chronic pain, arthritis, hypertension or other persistent illness.
She will provide a handout of diabetes care support resources in the local area.
Gannett helped to organize the Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic's wellness program and is a member of the wellness committee.
The Wellness Program, called WOW! Working on Wellness, is a free program of the Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic. Call 582-0218.
