“We’re looking into new safety precautions to be installed soon and not leaving any money here overnight.”
Larry and Val Culp, owners of the Old Mill Café in Carlsborg, report that customer checks and cash were taken either Sunday night, Nov. 14, or early Monday, Nov. 15.
The checks made out to the restaurant at 721 Carlsborg Road were dated from Nov. 9-14.
“We’re looking into new safety precautions to be installed soon and not leaving any money here overnight.”
Those who paid by check at the cafe during that time period can contact their financial institution and the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sequim Gazette is located at 147 W. Washington Street in Sequim.
