Alarm test planned

Winchester chimes will sound for 10 seconds at noon Monday, Jan. 3, during the monthly test for the All Hazard Alert Broadcast Sirens along the coastal areas of Clallam County.
A voice message will declare that the message is a test.
Monday’s test will include the sirens at LaPush, Neah Bay, Clallam Bay, Lower Elwha, West Port Angeles, Dungeness and Diamond Point.
Those nearby are encouraged to phone in information about hearing the chime and the clarity of the voice announcement throughout Monday and Tuesday at 417-2525.
