UPDATE: Timothy Patrick Smith surrendered to law enforcement at 4 p.m. today, Port Angeles Police Sgt. Barb McFall said.
He is being held at the Clallam County jail on investigation of rendering criminal assistance, a Class B felony.
He did not provide any information on the wherabouts of Michael Joseph Moyle, she said.
McFall encouraged people with knowledge of his whereabouts to call the Port Angeles Police Department at 452-4545 or to remain anonymous call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The program can pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to any arrest with the filing of felony charges.
Law enforcement continued to search the peninsula Thursday evening for two suspects in what police believe was a vehicular assault that injured four family members, including a 4-year-old boy who remains hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center.
