A $5,000 bench warrant remains out on a homeless man, Anthony Depuisaye-Green, 18, for multiple counts of theft and burglary in connection with two Sequim home invasions two weeks ago.

 

Depuisaye-Green faces charges in Clallam County Superior Court of burglary in the second degree, theft in the second degree, residential burglary, theft in the third degree and malicious mischief in the third degree.

 

He appeared in court July 26 but did not appear July 28 and is being held in the Lewis County jail in lieu of $250,000 bail on investigation of burglary, theft and other criminal charges unrelated to the Clallam County case.

 

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office considered Depuisaye-Green and his girlfriend, Dezari Johnson, 18, of

Sequim, armed and dangerous after they allegedly stole six firearms, ammunition, money, jewelry and a 1998 Toyota RAV4, among other things, from a Mossyrock residence the weekend of July 23 before coming to Sequim, where the Toyota was found.

 

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reported Depuisaye-Green allegedly entered an unlocked detached garage sometime between 11 p.m. July 24 and 9 a.m. July 25, in the 300 block of Schindler Road in Sequim. He allegedly stole two bicycles worth $2,600, two backpacks worth $300, a framing hammer worth $20, water bottles and plastic containers with frozen food.

 

At 11 a.m. July 25, Depuisaye-Green allegedly entered an unlocked door to a home on the 200 block of Zaccardo Road where he allegedly stole $104 in loose coins and a briefcase with nautical plotting items inside worth about $400. He later abandoned the briefcase after opening it, deputies said,

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Depuisaye-Green and Johnson bought items with the coins at the Longhouse Market & Deli.

 

Depuisaye-Green and Johnson were arrested at the Longhouse at 12:30 p.m. July 25 on the Lewis County charges and were found to be in possession of the backpacks, plastic ware, water bottles and framing hammer, deputies said.

 

The bicycles and briefcase were found in bushes later in the evening near the 200 block on Zaccardo Road and returned to their owners. The lights for one of the bicycles went missing at a cost of about $35.

 

Both were booked into the Clallam County jail Monday afternoon and later released on their own recognizance. Johnson has not been charged in Clallam County but faces four criminal charges in Lewis County, where she remains in custody in lieu of $150,000.
