The Port of Port Angeles has hired Karen Goschen, former administrative services director for the City of Sequim, as its new director of finance.

She'll prepare the Port's capital and operating budget, supervise staff and plan, organize and direct the Port’s finance, accounting, audit, insurance and risk management functions. 

“The Port is proud to have Karen on our team," said Jeff Robb, Port executive director. 

"Her vast experience paired with her keen analytical eye is just what we need. I am confident she will take the Port to new levels with technology and our finances.” 

Goschen has held executive-level management positions in finance since 1998. She started with the Port on Aug. 30.
