On Saturday, Oct. 13, enjoy a free day of fixed-route and ADA paratransit service to celebrate "Communities in Motion Day" in Clallam County in conjunction with Clallam Transit's 32-year anniversary. 

The purpose of "Communities in Motion Day" is to recognize the vital role that public transportation plays in the daily lives of people and communities and to promote greater use of public transit in Clallam COunty, transit system officials say.

City councils in Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks and the Clallam County Board of Commissioners have adopted proclamations declaring "Communities in Motion Day" Oct. 13.
