Operation ‘Christmas Child’ invites donations of packed boxes

Carlsborg volunteers with Operation Christmas Child are filling shoebox gifts with toys, school supplies and hygiene items for needy children overseas.
Anyone can drop off a packed shoebox at the Carlsborg-area collection site and the boxes will be delivered to children in 100 countries worldwide.
The Carlsborg/Sequim collection site, Eastern Hills Community Church, 91 Savannah Lane, Carlsborg, is open Monday, Nov. 12, 6-8 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m.: Thursday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 16, 2-6 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 18, 2-5 p.m.; and Monday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m.-noon.
To register shoebox gifts and find out the destination country, use the “Follow Your Box” donation form found at www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
