The United Way of Clallam County will honor more than 100 volunteers and thousands of donors who helped with the 2012 Campaign on Friday, March 1.

 

The annual awards dinner and presentations will begin with a 5:30 p.m. social hour followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom at the Red Lion Hotel in Port Angeles. Cost is $25 per person and reservations are necessary. 

The dinner is open to campaign volunteers, donors, United Way Partner agencies and their volunteers and any other interested persons. 

Reservations should be made no later than Monday, Feb. 25, by calling the United Way office at 457-3011 or e-mailing info@unitedwayclallam.org. 

While final figures won’t be announced until March 31, campaign chairman Mary Ann Unger will announce the outcome of this year’s efforts. 

The fund drive goal this year in honoring United Way’s 60th anniversary was set at $1,060,000. Contributions toward the campaign received before March 31 will be included in the campaign’s final total.
