The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority is calling on everyone with stories about the tall ship Lady Washington, the Official Ship of the State of Washington, to share those stories during her 20th anniversary year.
Sharle Osborne's fourth-grade class at Helen Haller Elementary led the annual salmon release March 24 at the Hurd Creek Fish Hatchery. The class received 500 eggs from the hatchery, which they raised in an aquarium in their classroom.

Community Holy Week services will start at 12:10 p.m. Monday-Friday, April 6-10 at five local Christian churches. The 45-minute services will feature music and/or skits by the host churches with sermons by alternating local pastors.
The Ordover Gallery at the San Diego Natural History Museum selected a photograph by Sequim resident Charlotte Watts, "Barn in Dust Storm," to be displayed in its summer exhibit. It was chosen from more than 2,300 entries.
