Carlsborg adds an Arco

Drivers traveling near Carlsborg will have one more gas station to choose from in early spring.

Officials from Sabyr Contractors, Inc. say a new Arco gas station is expected to be complete at the corner of U.S. Highway 101 and Carlsborg Road by the end of May or early June.

Daryn Gilstrap, Sabyr division manager, said the contractor broke ground on the project in early December for its client BP P.L.C. He said the gas station will include a 3,100 square foot convenience store.

Gilstrap said he does not anticipate the project to impact the surrounding areas.
