City of Sequim housing survey available online

The City of Sequim’s Department of Community Development is developing a Housing Needs Assessment to address the requirements and costs for housing throughout the City, and seeks the input of Sequim residents through an online survey.

A link to the survey will be on the homepage of the City website at www.sequimwa.gov through Friday, Aug. 31.

City of Sequim residents are encouraged to express their opinions about current housing conditions, preferences, and priorities. Participants can enter a phone number or email at the end of the survey to be kept informed of the progress of the study, and are eligible to be included in a drawing for a $250 gift certificate.

City officials say the Housing Needs Assessment will help the City of Sequim to develop and adopt policies, programs and codes that will provide housing that is affordable for all city residents, and to develop strategies for assisting housing solutions for households that cannot live affordably.
