Kindergarten begins in Sequim schools

Tuesday was the first day of kindergarten in Sequim schools including Greywolf Elementary and Helen Haller Elementary. Students picked out books to read, did math lessons, learned the rules of the road such as walking politely in a line to lunch, and much more. In Melissa Novak’s kindergarten classroom, one of their many mini-lessons included how to use the water fountain after recess.
