Effective at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, the Clallam PUD’s payment center at the Co-op Farm &Garden Center will close permanently.

Originally opened as a temporary solution for staff and operations to transition to the PUD’s Main Office in Carlsborg, the need to maintain the small payment center at the Co-op is no longer necessary.

The outside payment drop box will remain at the Co-op location in Sequim, though cash is not accepted there.

With the PUD’s main office conveniently located in Carlsborg, customers in Sequim and surrounding areas are well served with one-stop shopping for all their payment, conservation and other needs. It’s also in an area where Sequim residents are accustomed to driving to, whether for the old Costco, Sunny Farms, Greywolf Elementary or other retail outlets in the area.

For those customers not needing to visit the office in person, the PUD’s new Smart Hub payment option allows customers to view their bills, sign up for paperless billing and use their debit or credit card for autopay or to make one-time payments.
