Olympic National Park sets use fee hikes, free days for 2017

Users of Olympic National Park can expect fee increases in 2017, part of a three-year phased rise in user fees that started in 2015.

Effective Jan. 10, Overnight Wilderness Use Permits have increased in price, from $5 to $8 nightly and $35 to $45 for an Annual Wilderness Pass.

On June 1, the seven-day motorcycle entrance fee increases from $15 to $20.

Entrance fees apply to people 16 years of age and older; youths 15 years old and younger enter the park for free.

Olympic National Park’s regular entrance fee is $25 per car. On fee free days (see below), other park fees, including wilderness camping and campground fees, remain in effect. The Olympic National Park Annual Pass costs $50.
