OMC named top 20 rural community hospital in consecutive years

Olympic Medical Center was once again named one of 20 Top Rural Community Hospitals in the nation by The National Rural Health Association (NHRA).

The Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals, including OMC, scored the best among Prospective Payment System hospitals (rural community, non-Critical Access Hospitals) on iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength Index.

The Top 20 Rural Community Hospital winners are those hospitals who achieved success in the overall performance based on a composite rating from eight indicators of strength: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspectives, costs, charges and financial stability.

“OMC is honored and pleased to receive this recognition and we remain focused on improving our services to our patients and community,” said Eric Lewis, OMC chief executive officer.
