The Sequim Association of Realtors last week presented a check for $10,000 to the Olympic Resource Protection Council.

Citing the Realtor Pledge, Hansen said, “As a Realtor we pledge to protect the individual right to property; the arbitrariness of the Department of Ecology WRIA 18 Rule impacts property values prohibiting outside watering to many property owners.”

The Olympic Resource Protection Council is a nonprofit organization, one that seeks clear, fair and reasonable regulations in an effort to bring balance to the issue of water and land. The council was formed in 2012 after many discussions with the Department of Ecology officials.
