Sequim woman hurt in Jefferson County crash

A Sequim woman was hurt in a two-car collision on State Route 104, about 10 miles south of Port Townsend, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol reports Lisa and Shroll Lindley, 38, of Sequim, was injured and transported to Olympic Medical Center after her 2013 Hyundai Veloster crashed into a 2009 Mitsubishi truck at about 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 16.

Occupants in the other vehicle — Luis A. Carrera Gallegos, 27, of Renton, and Gerardo Pulido Saldana, of Kent — were uninjured.

The State Patrol reports Lindley was using a cell phone while driving eastbound on State Route 104. Patrol reports indicate Lindley’s car crossed the center line into the westbound lane and struck the truck in the rear driver’s side.

Charges of distracted driving against Lindley are pending.
