Contributor Jacque Schaafsma and her daughter-in-law spotted this bobcat sitting in a field next to their home on Feb. 24. “We have never seen one before in this area although our neighbors say they have seen her several times this winter,” Schaafsma writes. “She sat there posing for 10-15 minutes before ambling off into the woods. We were most fortunate!”
