Laurent A. Lamoureux

Sequim resident Laurent A. Lamoureux died Sept. 19, 2010, at the age of 88. He was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Port Angeles to Paul Sr. and Aldea Peterson Lamoureux.
He and Betty married in Santa Rosa, Calif., in 1944. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service.
He was superintendent of the water department in Escondido, Calif., where he and Betty lived for more than 20 years. After five years in Yuma, Ariz., the couple returned to Sequim in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lorraine Lamoureux, of Sequim; son Gary Lamoureux of Seattle; and two grandsons. Son Michael died in 2001.

Alvin ‘Bob’ G. Allison

Sequim resident Alvin “Bob” G. Allison died Dec. 26, 2010, at the age of 92.
He was born Jan. 18, 1918, in Minneapolis, Kan., to Harmon and Elva Perry Allison. He married Fern Roy Allison. Sequim Valley Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
